Handpan Sheet Music – Support

A notation editor for handpan players, for iPad. Found a problem or have an idea? Open an issue at github.com/lemunozm/handpan-sheet-music/issues.

Getting started

Tap the ? button at the top of the app for a short guide. In short: tap a symbol in the palette, then tap the bars to place it; tap a slot that already has a note to make a chord. Black is the right hand, green the left. The pencil at the top right switches between edit and play mode.

Where are my sheets?

In the Files app, under On My iPad › HP Sheets. Each sheet is a .hpsheet file you can copy, back up or AirDrop. Tapping one anywhere opens it in the app.

Printing

Use the share icon → PDF. The PDF uses the sheet size you set with the slider at the top: smaller fits more bars per page.

Languages

The app follows your iPad's language. You can pick another one in the app's Settings.
